Attempt Break and Enter- Can you identify this person?

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to help identify the individual shown in the attached photos. It is alleged that at approximately 5:40 AM on Monday June 13, 2022, this person attempted to break in to the Royal Lepage building located at 4180 Island Highway West.

Security video captured the suspect walking onto the rear deck of the property. He then produced a screw driver and spent upwards of thirty minutes attempting to pry open the rear door of the building and locked electrical socket. He eventually gave up and walked off the property.

The suspect is a Caucasian man, heavy set, 5 ft. 7 inches and was wearing dark coloured clothing, and carrying a backpack. He was also wearing a ball cap.
