Police look for answers on 10 year old hit and run fatality

The Dawson Creek RCMP are still seeking information on a hit and run collision that killed Constance (Connie) Jones on March 6th, 2015.

In the early morning of March 6th, 2015, Connie was walking to work when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle at the intersection of 8th Street and 106th Avenue, Dawson Creek, BC.

During the initial investigation police conducted extensive neighbourhood canvassing for video surveillance and witnesses to the collision. Tire skid marks located on the road were examined and compared to several vehicles, however the suspect and suspect vehicle have yet to be identified.

The police investigation remains active and police believe that a member of the public has information that could help solve this investigation.
