Police seize firearms, drugs and cash following a vehicle stop

On Friday, September 27, 2024 Northern Rockies RCMP conducted a vehicle check when they observed a vehicle that appeared to not hold valid insurance.
Soon after the stop, police observed evidence which led to a search warrant. Asd a result of the search police located and seized firearms, a loaded handgun and an imitation firearm, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
The investigation is ongoing and further charges could result. More information may be released as it becomes available.
