The Fort St John RCMP is trying to return some survey equipment to the rightful owner.
On September 3, 2024 at 10:32am, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of some abandoned surveying equipment in the area of the West Bypass Road and 244 Road (West Bypass and Rose Prairie Road) in Fort St John, BC.
Frontline police officers attended and recovered two cases of what appears to be commercial surveying equipment and an aluminum post that may have been abandoned or stolen and stashed. No reports were made prior or after the incident that appeared to match the equipment description.
If you believe this is your surveying equipment, please attend the Fort St John RCMP detachment at 10712 100 Street, Fort St John, and be prepared to describe the brand and colour of the equipment, any identifying features, a receipt or serial numbers or a photo of yourself carrying or using the equipment.
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have additional information related to this matter to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
