The Fort St John RCMP is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect and vehicle involved in an alleged attempted abduction on in Taylor, BC.
On May 6, 2024, at approximately 9:15pm, a male suspect, driving a smaller tan coloured pickup truck, offered a walking youth a ride. When the youth declined, the male driver made additional verbal attempts to get the youth into the vehicle. The suspect fled the scene headed toward Fort St John, BC.
The suspect male driver is described as:
- Caucasian,
- Mid 40's,
- Wearing a black and white bushy beard,
- Balding,
- Having a shorter stature,
- Weighing approximately 250lbs.
The suspect vehicle was described as:
- A smaller, tan-coloured pickup truck with rust spots.
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and request the public’s assistance in providing information on possible sightings of the suspect vehicle and male driver.
