Abandoned 911 call leads to multiple arrests

On May 19, 2024 at just after 6:00am, the Fort St John RCMP received a dropped 911 call tracing back to a business located in the area of 107th Ave and 102nd Street in Fort St John, BC.
Frontline police officers attended and located two individuals, one individual with a suspected knife wound to the chest.
Both individuals were arrested.
The injured individual was arrested for Failing to Comply with Release Order, then transported to hospital by Emergency Health Services for assessment. The individual was then transported back to the Fort St John RCMP detachment and is being held until May 23, 2024 for court.
The other individual was arrested for Assault with a Weapon and then released on an Undertaking with conditions with a court date of June 17, 2024.
