One driver deceased following two vehicle collision

On April 24, 2024 at 9:38pm, Fort St John RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle with significant injuries in the area of 93rd Street and 96th Avenue, Fort St John, BC.

Multiple frontline police and municipal traffic officers immediately attended and found the driver of the motorcycle receiving CPR.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

Fort St John RCMP Collision Analyst and Reconstruction Services attended to conduct a forensic examination of the scene.

Initial witness reports indicate the motorcycle struck the pickup truck. Speed is believed to be a factor. Both vehicles have been seized for continued investigation.
