Salt Spring Island RCMP participated in last weekend's Fall Fair on Salt Spring Island.
"We had a great turn out at this year’s Salt Spring Fall Fair" says Sergeant Clive Seabrook, detachment commander of the Salt Spring RCMP detachment. "This is our second year participating, we had approximately 270 people chat with us with great interest in joining the RCMP. I even had one great talk with a person interested in joining the RCMP who was visiting from Saskatchewan."
RCMP officers work to prevent and solve crime, enforce federal, provincial/territorial, and municipal law, build and maintain relationships with communities, and above all, keep Canadians safe. The RCMP is the only police force in Canada to offer over 150 different career opportunities.
