On Monday, March 6, 2023 at 4:44 pm, Fort St John RCMP, and Emergency Services personnel, responded to 100th Street and 99th Ave in the city.

BC Conservation Officer came upon the crash shortly after it had occurred and found bystanders providing first aid to an unresponsive adult man.

The man had been struck by a piece of equipment used for snow clearing. EHS transported the man to hospital and despite medical intervention, he succumbed to injuries sustained.

RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or who may have been in the area between 4:45 and 5:15 pm that may have dash cam video.

Anyone with information is asked to call the BC Highway Patrol, Fort St John at (250) 787-8100.
