Intoxicated in public

Suspicious circumstance

On January 20 a man called Lillooet RCMP from Aspen, Colorado, to report people living in the area of Lillooet. Police spoke with the man over the phone who reported he was an ex-con, ex-drug user and claimed that people drugged, kidnapped and abused him in California, Colorado, and New Mexico. The man also reported the people were Satan worshippers. The man was informed he must report the crimes in the jurisdiction where it occurred, and therefore should notify proper authorities in California, Colorado, and New Mexico. Lillooet RCMP had no recent reports of kidnapping, or anyone being unwillingly drugged.

False alarm

On January 23 at 10pm, a man reported his neighbours house alarm was going off, and the neighbour was telling him that there were two unknown people inside her house. Police attended and the woman again advised there were two people in her house and that they had been there for five days. Police searched the house but did not locate anyone. Further discussion with the woman revealed there was likely an underlying medical issue. The woman’s adult son arrived and informed police that his mother’s medication was recently altered, and believed it was causing her to hallucinate. The son was able to care for his mother and informed police they would be looking into adjusting her medication again.
