3 vehicle collision snarls early morning traffic

On July 14, 2022 just after 6:00 A.M. the Sooke RCMP responded to a three-vehicle collision on Sooke Road near the intersection of Goodridge Road.
Through investigation, RCMP members have determined that one of the vehicles crossed the centerline and collided head-on with another coming in the opposite direction. A third vehicle was also struck in the collision.
The drivers of two vehicles were taken from the scene by way of Ambulance for medical treatment. The road was closed for approximately 1.5 hours, and was fully reopened by 7:30 A.M.
Sooke RCMP, Sooke Fire, and BC Ambulance were all on scene and attended to the victims, investigated the collision, and cleared the road as quickly as possible during the busy morning commute
said Acting Detachment Commander Sergeant Kevin Shaw The cause of the collision is still under investigation, however road and weather conditions are not believed to be contributing factors
