The Emergency Services Bike Rodeo is just around the corner on June 11 between 3pm and 6pm in the north west corner of the Skeena Mall parking lot.
This is a free event that teaches kids the importance of bike safety in a fun and interactive way while giving the opportunity to interact with emergency service workers who are there to support and help them.
The event is open to kids of all ages. Registration will be held on the day of the event. Kids should be brought between 3:00 and 6:00 pm with a suitable helmet and bicycle to use during the event.
On site will be a variety of booths including:

- Various obstacle courses for riders to learn hand signals and bike skills
- Each child receives a coupon for a hot dog and drink
- The Northern Brain Injury Association to educate and assist with helmet fittings
- Bike decorating station
- Special appearance by Safety Bear
- Raffle to be held at the end of the event for a new bicycle donated by Canadian Tire
