West Kelowna RCMP arrested a man related to several mischief files stemming from Pinot Noir Drive in mid-December.
In each of these files, it was determined a rock was thrown through a window of three separate homes in the early morning hours of December 15, 2024. Residents in the area each reported the incident and an investigation was opened.
Through hard, diligent work and conversations within the neighbourhood, officers were able to determine a suspect and began to search for the individual.
On Sunday January 5th at approximately 4:00am, through patrols, police located a vehicle driving in the area of Pinot Noir Drive which was registered to the suspect. Officers conducted a traffic stop and located a male suspect and arrested him without incident. Large rocks were located in the plain view within his vehicle.
Thanks to the keen observation of our front-line officers, this suspect has been arrested,
says Inspector Jason Charney. We also thank the Pinot Noir Drive residents in assisting in our investigation by supplying information and video surveillance which ultimately led to this arrest.
The suspect was transported to cells and will appear before the court.
