False alarm
2024-2227
On October 6, 2024 Lillooet RCMP received a report of an alarm to a commercial restaurant in Lillooet. RCMP members attended and checked the premise, all doors were locked, there were no signs of forced entry into the premise. The manager was contacted and advised of the report.
Break and enter
2024-2237
On October 8, 2024 just after midnight Lillooet RCMP received a report of an alarm at Fort Berens Winery in Lillooet. Police attended and determined a break in had occurred. RCMP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) attended to examine the scene later in the morning. Video surveillance was also reviewed by police. The matter is still under investigation.
Check well being

On October 10, 2024 a concerned caller requested police check the wellness of a woman residing in Lytton. The caller had received reports from others that the woman was not looking good and possibly being abused. RCMP members in Lytton attended the woman’s residence and spoke with her independently, she denied any physical abuse and wished to remain where she was residing.
Theft of vehicle
2024-2257
On October 10, 2024 at 6:30 am a caller in Lillooet reported his white 2001 Dodge Ram pick up truck was stolen sometime overnight. The vehicle was located later in the day in a ditch near Ashcroft, by Ashcroft RCMP. The truck was unoccupied with no one else around. The vehicle owner was notified and a report was sent to ICBC on the damage incurred to the truck.
Assault
2024-2288
On October 15, 2024 a caller in Lillooet reported his brother was hitting their father at there residence. Lillooet RCMP members attended and spoke to all parties. The father was well and unharmed. He simply wanted his son removed from the home, the son had just moved in for a week and it was not working out. The son was escorted from the premise and given a ride to a local non-profit for further resources/housing needs.
Checkstop program

On October 16, 2024 Lillooet RCMP members conducted a vehicle check stop on Main street, checking for valid drivers licenses, insurance, and driver sobriety. Multiple verbal warnings were given for minor infractions such as failing to display "Learner" or "New Driver" tags.
Check well being
2024-2334
On October 19, 2024 a caller in Lytton reported a vehicle in a ditch on Hwy 1, the caller was concerned for the occupants well being. An RCMP member in Lytton located the sole occupant and driver who told the member they were well, they had slid off the road on a wet spot on the Hwy and lost control. They told the member they had already called for a tow. No further police action was required.
Pictured is a well behaved lost dog that was located by Lillooet RCMP in File 2024-2205. The dog was reconnected to it's owners by the District of Lillooet By-Law Officer.
