Trespassing

2024-1849

On August 24, 2024 an employee at the Lillooet Rec Centre reported 3 people seemed to be setting up camp behind the Rec Centre, they wanted them gone. An RCMP member attended and the 3 people had left. Further foot patrols were made by police and no one was observed camping there.

Impaired operation

2024-1895

On August, 29, 2024 at 9:00 am Lillooet RCMP received a report of a semi truck with a load of hay bales partially blocking an exit to an apartment complex in Lillooet. An RCMP member attended and observed an empty 2L bottle alcoholic beverage bottle next to the driver seat. The driver was inside the vehicle and started up the truck advising he had only parked it there temporarily half an hour ago. The driver was given a suspicion demand to provide a sample into an approved screening device (ASD) for possible alcohol in his system. The driver subsequently produced a warning result on the ASD for alcohol in his system. He was immediately prohibited from driving for 3 days and his vehicle was impounded. The matter was referred to ICBC.

Hay bale trailer on fire

2024-1928

On September 2, 2024 at 5:15 am Lillooet Fire Department advised RCMP a parked hay bale trailer off of Main street was on fire. Lillooet Fire Department put out the fire. There were no witnesses to the fire starting. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lillooet RCMP, please reference Lillooet-Lytton RCMP file 2024-1928.

Mischief

2024-1974

On September 6, 2024 at 10:50 pm the manager of Interior Savings Credit Union in Lillooet reported a rock had been thrown at there front window, causing a glass pane to break. It occurred sometime from 5:30 pm the prior evening and 9:000 am on September 6, 2024. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lillooet RCMP, please reference Lillooet-Lytton RCMP file 2024-1974.

Mental Health Act

2024-2023

On September 10, 2024 at 8:26 pm a caller had requested BC Ambulance Service attend a campground in Lillooet as her brother had attempted suicide by consuming many pain killers. RCMP and Stl’Atl’Imx Tribal police members attended to investigate and to spoke with the man. The man was deemed to pose a risk to himself and was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and transported to the Lillooet hospital where he was to be assessed by a Doctor.

Youth engagement

2024-2037

On September 12, 2024 Lillooet RCMP member attended the Cayoosh Elementary for a school visit. The RCMP member visited the kids during the recess break and interacting with the youth and spoke with recess supervisors.

Theft from a trailer

2024-2075

On September 18, 2024 a man in Lytton reported to an RCMP member that numerous items were stolen from a trailer which was parked at a rest stop on Trans Canada Hwy near Lytton. Items stolen included; a Champion 3500-Watt generator, Hilti TE7 hammer drill, a Fluke 1587 Megger electric tester device, a Rigid corded vacuum, a Hilti corded vacuum. There were no witnesses and insufficient evidence to proceed further.

Hit and run

2024-2134

On September 24, 2024 a caller in Lillooet reported his vehicle was parked in his driveway overnight, in the morning he discovered damage to the front passenger side of his vehicle. There was no surveillance footage or witnesses.
