RCMP investigating vehicle damaged by gun shot

On October 17, 2023, the West Kelowna RCMP received a report that several commercial trucks had been damaged by gunfire overnight while parked in the 4900 block of Trepanier Rd in Peachland.

Upon arrival, officers located and collected evidence that confirmed the report.

Five company vehicles, including one tractor-truck and four dump trucks, sustained damage. Surveillance footage was obtained, but the identification of the suspects has yet to be confirmed.

"These types of crimes are of great concern to the RCMP and our community. The RCMP is actively investigating this incident to identify those responsible and understand their motivation," said Constable Mike Della-Paolera, the Media Relations Officer with the Kelowna RCMP.
