Police looking to identify assault suspect

On July 3 2023, the West Shore RCMP received a report of an assault that had taken place at Browns Social House located at 783 Goldstream Ave, Langford.
Police attended the restaurant and learned the incident occurred around midnight on July 3. The victim had been assaulted after confronting a male patron who had left the restaurant with a glass of wine. The suspect then left on foot walking down Goldstream Ave toward Veteran’s Memorial Way.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspect in the photo below.
Photo and description of male suspect:
- Caucasian male;
- Between 30-35 years old;
- Approximately 5'7" (170cm) tall;
- Stocky muscular build approx. 200 lbs (90kg);
- Dark hair;
- Wearing a black and beige colored vertical striped shirt, black pants, black and white sneakers and grey and black backpack.
