Sunshine Coast RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying witnesses relating to two incidents that took place on the evening of Saturday, March 9th in Sechelt.

The first incident occurred in the parking lot outside of Trail Bay Mall near Cowrie and Trail Ave, at approximately 10:15 pm and 10:45 pm. There were 5-7 youth involved wearing masks.  Two youths jumped on the hood of a car before they fled on foot.

The second incident occurred in the 5600 block of Inlet Avenue.  A woman walking her dog at approximately 10:50 pm was approached by 3 youths wearing dark clothing and face masks.  One youth threw a water bottle at her and another shot at her with possibly a gel blaster.  The youths fled on foot through the car wash into the alley.

If anyone witnessed the group in the area or has dashcam please call the Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
