On 2023-05-24 at 8:37 am Sunshine Coast RCMP were dispatched to a report of a school bus that tipped over on the side of the highway in the 12600 block of Highway 101 in Madeira Park.
Initial report is that there was one child passenger who was picked up by their guardian. School bus driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved. The highway will have traffic disruptions as specialized equipment will be needed to right the bus and remove it from the roadway. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
