On November 19th 2022, at approximately 10:30 pm, Sunshine Coast RCMP received a report of a female who had been assaulted in Sechelt BC.
The female victim was able to flee the scene after she was assaulted by several people known to her. The victim was transported to Sechelt hospital and is recovering from her injuries. The assault is believed to have occurred due to a personal conflict between the victim and her assailants and was a targeted incident.
The police investigation is ongoing and 4 people from Sechelt have been arrested and are facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a weapon.
Police will not be releasing any further information at this time.
