Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating a structure fire that resulted in the complete loss of a construction site and two single-family homes as well as major damage to a condominium.
On June 9, 2023, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP were notified by Maple Ridge Fire Department (MRFD) of a fire at a construction site in the 22500 block of Brown Avenue in Maple Ridge. Due to the intensity of the fire, it spread to a condominium building north of the fire as well as east and west to two single-family homes.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Ridge Meadows RCMP with support from the MRFD, and no further information is available at this time.
Police are still seeking witnesses, video surveillance or dash cam footage from the area. If you have information for the police please contact the Ridge Meadows RCMP directly at 604-463-6251.
