One man in custody following police incident in Richmond

Richmond RCMP is providing an update into a police incident earlier this afternoon on February 17, 2023, when a man had reportedly barricaded himself in the area of 7600-block of Moffatt Road.

The man has been taken into police custody without incident and the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team has cleared the area.

There is Police presence in the area. There is no danger to the public. Richmond RCMP is requesting members of the public to stay out of the area.
