North Vancouver RCMP were made aware of an unconfirmed threat that jeopardized public safety received by the management of the Lonsdale Quay Marketplace on the morning of August 22.
Frontline police officers attended and, out of an abundance of caution, evacuated the marketplace. Our Integrated Police Dog Services assisted in conducting a thorough search of the market and area and did not locate anything of concern. The marketplace has re-opened to the public.
