ICBC and North Vancouver RCMP’s annual boat safety event, ‘Project Wave,’ is happening on Saturday August 27 at Whey-ah-Wichen (Cates Park) from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. On August 27, we will have media availability at 10:00 a.m.

The ‘Project Wave’ event will include the ICBC crash car, booths, media, dignitaries and numerous police partners. We are inviting everyone to join us to chat and check out our educational displays and the ICBC crash car.

‘Project Wave’ is an annual partnership event between North Vancouver RCMP Traffic Services and ICBC to educate the public about their obligations as responsible pleasure craft operators. ‘Project Wave’ brings an opportunity for the public to meet our partner agencies who patrol our local waterways and learn about boating regulations and water safety.
