The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is releasing a short video clip in an effort to further the investigation into a recent break and enter.

Video description: A 13-second video clip of a person in dark clothing getting into a running white SUV’s passenger side, while a person in dark and red clothing runs to and closes the trunk, then gets into the rear passenger seat, before the vehicle drives away. The video is taken at night and the view is impeded by balcony bars. The rear license plate is not visible and appears to be covered by something.

On Saturday March 9, 2024, around 5:10 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of a glass-break at a commercial location on the 400-block of Lorne Street, in which skin care products were stolen.
The break and enter happened very quickly, but luckily someone in the area captured a short video clip that shows two people getting into a white SUV that quickly drives away, following the break-in,
said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. We are releasing the video in case anyone recognizes the vehicle or its occupants, or has additional footage that could be linked and help identify the suspects.

The Forensic Identification Service Unit also attended and collected evidence.
