A person was taken into custody after multiple Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to the North Shore this afternoon.

On July 19, 2023, around 3:40 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance on the 200-block of Tranquille Road involving someone who was making threats and possibly in possession of a weapon. Police attended, located a suspect nearby, and arrested him.

The investigation is currently ongoing. Anyone who witnessed or has information related is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-25774.
