Disturbance call: man arrested

A report of a person smashing glasses in a restaurant last night led to an arrest on Columbia Street.

On June 26, 2023, around 11:35 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers attended the location in response to the disturbance call. A suspect inside appeared to be intoxicated by drugs and resisted arrest.

He was lodged in cells to sober up safely and prevent continuation of the offence.
