The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is releasing an image of a Sahali robbery suspect in hopes that someone will recognize her.

On April 30, 2023, just before 9 p.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers responded to a report of a robbery on the 1300-block of Summit Drive, in which a woman allegedly produced a handgun. The suspect made off with items including cash, then fled on foot.

Multiple police officers responded to the area, including the Police Dog Service Unit, but unfortunately the suspect was not located, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. Police are sharing images of the suspect with the public to help further the investigation. Maybe you saw someone wearing similar clothing earlier that day, or maybe you saw the suspect as she fled the scene on foot, ditching her ball cap nearby. Whatever the circumstances may be, please reach out and let us know.

The suspect is described as:

• Female
• Wearing a face covering
• Beige cap
• Cream coloured long sleeve shirt
• Blue jeans
• Wedding band
• Tattoo on her lower back and on the outside of her left hand

Anyone with information, including any video or images that may have captured someone matching the suspect’s description, is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-14873.
