"This type of unchecked aggression and complete disregard for the safety and well being of others has no place on our roads," says Cpl. Paige Kuz, Media Relations Officer. "Thankfully, no one suffered serious physical injuries, however, the impact of such a brazen act of violence can have long lasting effects on one’s own perception of safety. We all deserve to feel safe in our community; there is absolutely no excuse for road rage."
As Coquitlam RCMP continues to investigate, police are reaching out to witnesses and motorists travelling on in the area of Austin Avenue and Marmont Street to Brunette Avenue and King Edward Street on November 26, 2021, between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.. Anyone who may have witnessed the stopped vehicles or obtained dash camera video to contact the Coquitlam RCMP non-emergency line at 604-945-1550. If you wish to remain anonymous and possibly collect a reward, call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or go to their website at www.solvecrime.ca.
