Coquitlam RCMP officers, Community Policing Volunteers, Metro Vancouver Transit Police, Coquitlam Express and the SHARE society attended Safeway and Save-on-Foods in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam on July 25, 2024 to collect donations. The event ran from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and saw hundreds of attendees donate goods and money for the SHARE Society.

SHARE's Food Bank has seen a significant increase in the number of people seeking help, but together, we are making a difference. By donating at the RCMP's 'Cram the Cruiser' event during SHARE's Remember the Food Bank summer campaign, the community has provided healthy food and hope to those who need it most, said said Claire MacLean, Chief Executive Officer, SHARE Family & Community Services Society. Building a thriving community takes a team – SHARE is so grateful for the leadership of the RCMP, the support of Metro Vancouver Transit Police, the Coquitlam Express Hockey Club and everyone who helped make the Cram the Cruiser event a success. Thank you to everyone who contributed - your compassion is making a real impact.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who donated and attended our two events.
