Shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022, the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of gunshots heard on the 1800 block of Spruce Street.

When Frontline police arrived at the location, they found a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police provided medical attention to the man until B.C. Ambulance Service arrived to transport the male to hospital. The victim did not survive his injuries.

Investigators from the Integrated Forensic Identification Section, Police Dog Services and Serious Crime Unit attended to assist in the investigation.
