Media advisory – RCMP Southeast District Awards and Recognition Ceremony

The Southeast District RCMP invites the media to attend their awards and recognition ceremony on Thursday, October 19th, 2023, in Kelowna, BC. Dignitaries, including Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald, and Chief Superintendent Brad Haugli, will present over 70 awards, service medals and commendations to both peace officers, civilian member employees, and public service employees.

The last such recognition ceremony was held in 2019.

Who: Award recipients and their families, hosted by Chief Superintendent Brad Haugli (District Commander, RCMP Southeast District) and Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald.
When: Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at 10 a.m. (Media set-up at 9:40-9:50 a.m.)
Where: Four Points by Sheraton, 5505 Airport Way, Kelowna, BC.
