Fort St John RCMP investigate early morning shots fired at a residence

On March 24, 2023 at 4:39am, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of shots fired at a residence in the area of the 8600 block of 74th Street in Fort St John.
Frontline police officers attended and located numerous suspected bullet holes in the residence and in a vehicle in front of the residence.
There were no injuries to the residents.
Fort St John frontline police officers, the Fort St John RCMP Serious Crimes and Forensic Identification units are currently actively involved in the investigation which is in the very early stages.
A drive by shooting of this nature demonstrates the offenders complete disregard for the safety and wellbeing of the residence and the entire community as a whole,
said Constable Chad NEUSTAETER, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St John RCMP. Investigators will be giving this top priority in efforts to locate and arrest the offenders.
