The search for Frances Brown of New Hazelton was concluded at nightfall on Saturday October 21st 2017. Brown was last seen on Saturday October 14th 2017 when she was mushroom picking in the Smithers area. Brown has not been located.

The RCMP continue to investigate and the file remains open and active. Even though the RCMP wilderness search for Frances BROWN was suspended, the police will continue to investigate all information and leads.
