Commercial vehicle collision

On October 5th, 2023, at approximately 7:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two commercial vehicles. The collision occurred on Highway 1 near Spences Bridge, BC.

One of the driver’s was able to speak with officers at the scene. However, the driver of the other involved vehicle remains unaccounted for at the time of this release.

The highway will remain closed for an extended period of time.

Motorists are asked to check DriveBC for traffic updates. No further information is available.
