Apartment Fire with one Deceased Person

Surrey RCMP is currently on scene following a report of an apartment fire in the 13300-Block of 104th Avenue, in the Whalley area of Surrey.

At approximately 8:23 am on March 11th, Surrey RCMP received a report from the Surrey Fire Service of an apartment fire in the 13300-block of 104th Avenue.

Upon entry and extinguishment of the fire, Surrey Fire Service located one deceased person inside.

The investigation is currently underway, in its early stages, and Surrey RCMP Officers are canvassing for witnesses in the area.
