File # 2023-917
The theft of a motorized scooter from the Sunshine Coast Housing Society has left a local senior unable to get around and suffering the loss of her independence.
Sometime overnight between midnight February 13 and 7:00 am February 14th, the fence was cut to a secured area where the scooter was stored in the 5800 block of Medusa Street in Sechelt. The scooter is a dark blue Pegasus brand pictured below. It may have a blue and white checkered blanket in the front basket and also may have a shower cap covering the electronics.
If anyone knows where this scooter is, or has video surveillance that may have captured the theft or the thieves leaving the area with the scooter, please call Sunshine Coast RCMP at 604-885-2266.
