The BC RCMP has notified the Independent Investigations Office of British Columbia (IIO BC) of an incident in Kitimat which resulted in a man being taken to hospital with serious injuries.

On January 13, 2023, at approximately 5:10 a.m., Kitimat RCMP responded to a call of a break and enter at a local business.
