Kamloops police are releasing an image of a theft suspect in hopes that someone will recognize him.

On Friday Feb. 14, 2025, at approximately 5 p.m., Kamloops RCMP Detachment frontline officers were called to a retail location on Hillside Way for a report of a theft involving more than $1,000 worth of items.

According to the report, a man allegedly filled a shopping cart with items, bypassed the cash register, then fled through the emergency exit, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson. Since then, police have been unable to identify the man and are releasing photos captured of him to the public in order to help further the investigation.

The suspect is described as:

• Caucasian male
• 6
• Dark, mustache and goatee
• Wearing a dark hoodie and toque
