Coquitlam RCMP is inviting the public to attend Seniors Safe-Tea talks at the Pinetree Community Centre, Coquitlam on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 and at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in Port Coquitlam.

These events will cover a variety of topics including; how to avoid fraud, recognizing scams and elder abuse. The material presented at both events will be identical and is directed towards seniors and their care givers.

We are inviting the public, particularly seniors and their caregivers to attend our Seniors Safe-Tea Talks, said Coquitlam RCMP Media Relations Officer, Constable John Graham. Attendees will learn how to avoid fraud, recognize scams, and how to protect from elder abuse. What to do if you are a victim of fraud or abuse will also be taught.
