Police make arrest in assault

Maple Ridge, B.C – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating an incident that occurred in the 22400 block of 121 Street.

On December 11, 2024, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Ridge Meadows frontline officers received several reports of an assault that had occurred in the 22400 block of 121 Street, Maple Ridge.

Police attended the area, and located the victim who had visible injuries. The victim was later transported to Hospital for his injuries, which are believed to be non-life threatening. The victim has since been released from the hospital.

Front-line members and members of the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) were in the area, the alleged suspects who are known to police, a man and woman were quickly located and remain in custody.
