Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP are seeking dashcam footage after a collision in the area of 272 Street and Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge.
On September 29, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP received and responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and an unidentified vehicle in the area of 272 Street and Lougheed Highway.
Police arrived on scene and observed that the driver of the motorcycle had sustained minor injuries.
The vehicle which had struck the motorcycle failed to remain on scene, or exchange information with the injured motorist.
After further investigation and speaking to witnesses on scene, police believe the unidentified vehicle to be a blue 2007 Hyundai Elantra. The vehicle was last seen heading east on Lougheed Highway towards Mission and likely had visible front-end damage.
