On May 4, 2024 at approximately 8:00 p.m., North Vancouver RCMP were called to a multi-vehicle collision at the 300 block of Brooksbank Ave. One vehicle crashed into a local store.

Officers attended and determined there were no injuries but it is suspected that alcohol was a factor.

A woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, is being investigated for alcohol related offences.

North Van RCMP would like to remind the public to always plan safe ride home if you plan on drinking. This crash had multiple bystanders in the area that could have been injured and this collision could have had tragic consequences. We are fortunate there was only property damage, says Cpl. Brett Urano Division Media Relations Officer.

If you suspect someone of impaired and driving please call 911 and report the incident. We would like to thank our partners for their assistance with this investigation.
