To whom it may concern,
Thank you to the anonymous individual(s) who has been mailing letters with money inside to our detachment. Your generosity and gratitude towards the North Vancouver RCMP have been recognized by our staff.
The North Vancouver RCMP has received three thank you letters over a three-week period. While the Police are thankful for the gesture, they cannot accept cash donations. Instead, the money will be turned over to the Receiver General for Canada.
While we appreciate this act of kindness, the North Vancouver RCMP recommend that members of the public donate to local charities that assist those in need.
If you would like to show support to your local RCMP detachment, members of the public can email us or write a simple thank you note.
