Williams Lake RCMP are asking the public to stay away from 2nd Avenue, Pine Street Mackenzie Avenue and Boundary Road in the city at this time. Access to these roads have been blocked to all traffic.
Police are in the area after a violent altercation took place today, May 17, 2023 shortly before 5:00 pm. Due to the seriousness of the situation, numerous support services, including the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Police Dog Services (PDS) have been called to the scene.
More information may be released as it becomes available.
